The Sound of Hermes Silver

Capturing the sound of 24 pieces of silver jewelry from Herme’s iconic collection.

Collaboration with UVA (United Visual artists) who executed an installation composed of 16 metallic turntables in which the new Hermès pieces were placed on while lasers scanned the jewellery to trigger a sound and propel the cog mechanisms. The sound they produce is influenced by the shape, volume, and density of the piece, as crafted by the hands of the Hermès craftsman at their ateliers in Paris.
